AW Skin Saviours

Theres been a fair few weeks now where my skin has needed a little extra moisture and TLC. The change is weather this Autumn Winter has been harsh on my skin, not only my face but body as well. These products have been my go-to for protecting my skin from the harsh icy weather.

Alpha-H Liquid Gold Rose (£25.89) ; an overnight treatment that targets dead skin cells, helps to diminish visibility of acne scars and accelerates skin renewal process. I use this liquid peel as an overnight facial when my skin feels dry, uneven and dull – in the morning my skin feels refreshed, smooth and radiant. It’s a must have for the winter season as it truly picks my skin up ready for makeup the next day. The added rose in this limited edition bottle adds extra hydration and anti-inflammatory properties to the original formula.

Glossier Moisturizing Moon Mask (£18)the most intensely hydrating treatment thats packed full of almond oil, plant-based squalene and hyaluronic acid. I am truly obsessed with this mask, I use it most nights to hydrate and plump my skin. Recently my skin has been feeling incredibly dehydrated with the harsh icy weather and having the heating on at home and work, this mask has been my saviour for combating dry and dehydrated skin. This mask also has liquorice root, lemon fruit, honey and aloe to brighten and sooth the complexion.

Ameliorate Transforming Body Lotion (£22.50) ; the only body lotion I ever use! I am pretty low maintenance when it comes to looking after my skin, I like to see results straight away or I get bored of using something. Ameliorate resurfaces the top layer of the skin, whilst replenishing smoother, healthier-looking skin. This light-weight body moisturiser contains Lactic Acid; a naturally occurring Alpha Hydroxy Acid which encourages the skin’s natural exfoliation process and stimulating the renewal of healthy skin cells. It is also safe to use on the face.

Glossier Birthday Balm Dot Com (£10) ; a hydrating, multipurpose lip and skin salve to nourish and repair dry skin. They have various different flavours; Original, Birthday, Rose, Cherry, Mint and Coconut. I Opted for the birthday flavour because it smells like cake and has a slight shimmer to it. I want the mint and coconut ones next.

What are your winter skin saviours?

Interesting about the Alpha H as I’ve always been curious about it. Like you I have dry skin that could use some refinement so this post has been really useful. Love your blog layout as well 🙂 ..
