July Favourites

This month I have been trying out a few new products. I went on holiday at the beginning of this month and then I headed to IMATS and picked up a lot of new products. I have done a haul post here.  I am excited to be going into August and although this year is going by extremely fast, I always get excited for August because it is my birthday month and I have a lot planned this year.
My favourites from this month include a new perfume, an illuminating base I have been using daily, a new lip combo that is matte enough to last all day and a few new essential tools I have been missing in my collection.
My go-to summer perfume has been Stella McCartney STELLA EDT 100ml, I picked this up at the airport at the start of the month and have been wearing it every day since. I have been getting a lot of compliments whilst wearing it and I can see this becoming my go to fragrance for years to come. It smells so so nice, i’d recommend smelling it if your passing by a stand. – I’ll be doing a full review on this fragrance soon.
Le Blanc De Chanel has been on my wish list for a very long time and when I saw it with a heavy discount at the airport I just couldn’t resist. I have been using this under my foundation everyday and I have been loving it. It gives a gorgeous illuminating glow to the skin and it looks good under every foundation I’ve tried it with so far.
I went a little crazy at duty free and I also picked up a Mac Lipstick in Please Me, it is a matte formula and it is a gorgeous deep pink shade. I have been using this mixed with a bit of Velvet Teddy which is also from Mac. On days where I want to wear a more nude pink which is more suitable for everyday wear I have been loving Nars Lip pencil in Biscayne Park. I love this shade and it has become part of my everyday routine.
As far as skincare I have been using AA skincare refreshing eye gelI have done a review here. This has been a lifesaver whilst I was on holiday in the sun, it is refreshing and very cooling. A definite must have this summer.
Whilst I was at IMATS I picked up a few brushes but the one that I have been reaching for everyday is C436 Mini Duo Fibre Blender from Crown. I have been using this to apply my foundation and it blends everything in seamlessly. Another tool that I picked up from my trip to London was the Shu Umeua eyelash curlers. I have been in need of a new set of eyelash curlers and these have changed my life.
What have been your favourites for the past month?
Thanks for reading,
