DIY Lip Palette + Swatches

If you follow me on Instagram you would have probably seen me raving about my newly made lip palette. Makeup artist Adam Burrell has been a massive inspiration for me making my own lip palette. I always see his palettes on his Instagram and I fell in love.
I used Barry M Lip Paints (£4.49) and Ultra Moisturising Lip Paints (£4.49) to create this palette, here is a run down of all the colours/shades I have used to create this palette.

L-R: (Top Row) 101 Marshmallow, 140 Pink Sparkle, 157 Pink Pearl, 145 Punky Pink, 53 Coral, 161 Flamingo Pink, 164 Everything’s Rosie, 163 Little Vixen

L-R: (Middle Row) 129 Palest Lavender, 155 Pretty Pink, 52 Shocking Pink, 154 Pale Nude, 54 Peach, 158 Coral Blush, 150 Pink Suede, 156 Vicious Violet

L-R: (Bottom Row) 100 Baby Pink, 146 Dolly Pink, 153 Pink Ribbon, 147 Peachy Pink, 151 Sunset, 165 Just Peachy, 121 Pillar Box Red, 160 Black Cherry

My favourite shades are: 164 Everything’s Rosie, 163 Little Vixen, 154 Pale Nude, 146 Dolly Pink, 160 Black Cherry.

I adore Barry M lipsticks, they are really pigmented and I love the formulation of all of them. They are really affordable and such good quality. This is why I chose to use Barry M lipsticks to create this palette.

I made this palette for my makeup kit because I know that I will get a lot of use out of it and I cant wait to start experimenting with all of the different colours. I brought all of these lipsticks by myself and have been collecting them for a while now. I knew that this was something that I wanted to make and I brought a lipstick or two every time I went into Boots or Superdrug.

The palette is from Mac and it is one of there pro palettes (£10) with a customise x24 insert (£2.50).

I loved making this palette and the process of chopping and smashing the lipsticks into the palette isn’t as scary as it sounds. Its oddly therapeutic and I can’t wait to make more.

Will you try making your own lip palette?

Love this! So hard to choose a favourite, although I really love 53 Coral! Any coral lip shade is always a winner with me 🙂

Thank you for reading Charlotte. There's just too much choice, I can't wait to have a play with all of the colours. 53 Coral is a great one for the summer time also 🙂
