As mentioned previously in Part One, last weekend I took a short trip away to Paris. On the second day we walked to Galleries Lafayette, which is a massive french department store, the beauty hall on the ground floor is absolutely breathtaking. It also has a massive multicoloured crystal sculpture in the centre. We then went to the very top of Galleries Lafayette where you can see Paris from above, sadly the weather was not on our sides, with fog and rain but the Paris rooftops looked beautiful nether the less.
We also saw another Laduree store and the window displays were all kinds of dreamy, with gold, mint green and pineapple prints everywhere I just couldn’t help myself taking copious amounts of photographs. We did however stop for a quick macaroon and tea break at Fauchon, we went for two praline, one caramel and one raspberry. They were delicious; I wish we brought some home with us.
I had such a great time in Paris, it is defiantly one of my favourite cities and I can’t wait for more Parisian adventures in the future.
My Paris haul will be up on Saturday so don’t forget to check back then to see what I brought. Thank you for reading. Have you ever been to Paris?
