Over the summer I have picked up a few old and new beauty products which I thought I would share with you. First up, I picked up The Body Shop’s Honey bronzer in 03 Medium Matte (£13.00). This is one of the darker shades but it still looks natural and doesn’t give that orange colour that everyone fears.
Whilst wondering the aisles of boots I spotted the Little Mix all about the eyes neutrals eye palette from Collection (£3.19). It has 6 shades, 3 matte and 3 shimmery. At only £2.99 I think that it could be a good dupe for the Naked Basic’s palette from Urban Decay, the shadows are so creamy and blend really nicely. It’s a definite must have for your makeup bag.
I also picked up another lasting perfection concealer in 03 warm medium (£4.19) this is a staple product in my collection and I always end up going back to it.
Whilst in London I made a sneaky stop at Mac, I picked up another blusher in Harmony (£18) I use this to contour my cheek bones because it gives a gorgeous natural colour and doesn’t look too orange or too dark for my pale complexion. I also picked up another eyeshadow to add to my mac eyeshadow palette. I picked up the shade Star Violet (£10), this shade reminds me of cranberry by mac but with a lighter tone to it, it will be the perfect shade to wear throughout autumn.
I am starting to get into wearing more colours on my lips besides, nudes and light pinks. I picked up one of the Revlon Colour burst matte balms in 205 (£7.99). Its a bright pink but it doesn’t show up too bright on the lips, so far I have been embracing the bright lips and I really love the matte effect.
My last purchases of the summer were some new makeup brushes, I picked up two from Zoeva. The sheer cheek brush (shown above) and the powder brush, I love zoeva brushes and they are a decent price for the quality of them. The other brushes I brought were from an online store called complexion perfection, I picked up three of their concealer brushes (all different shapes), their flat top buffing brush and a makeup sponge.
