I got the Urban Decay Naked 3 palette (finally) from my bestest friend Victoria. I tried to get this for christmas but it was all sold out, so I am so pleased to finally have it. If you can’t already tell, rose gold is one of my favourite colours and this whole palette is stunning, my favourite shades are: Limit (matte), Trick (Shimmer) Nooner (Matte), Liar (Shimmer) and Factory (Shimmer).
As promised here is my ‘What I got for my 18th birthday’ post.* My mum loves getting gifts that you can keep forever (keep sakes) so when she asked me what I would like for my birthday I asked for a Michael Kors watch. I have wanted one for a very long time and I didn’t expect to get one, because I know just how expensive they are. I got the Bradshaw mini rose gold chronograph watch, it is stunning. My parents also surprised me with Chance by Chanel perfume, I left many hints that I wanted this but because I was on holiday for my birthday I was going to treat myself to it at Duty free (Obviously I didn’t and brought makeup instead).
I got some amazing pieces of jewellery this year. I don’t tend to wear big pieces of jewellery that often but little dainty pieces I do love to wear daily. I did not expect to get anything like the pieces above and I feel so incredibly lucky to have such amazing friends and family. The Marc by Marc Jacobs bracelet is gorgeous, it’s gold chain really stands out against the pink logo disc. I can already tell that this is going to be an everyday staple piece. Lastly I received this stunning Pandora ring, it has a beautiful pink flower on it with I think is gorgeous. I got a Pandora ring for my 16th birthday and have worn it constantly so I know that I will get a lot of wear out of this.
As it was my 18th birthday my sister wanted to get me something special, again something that I could keep. Herself and her boyfriend brought me a Michael Kors handbag, this is the traveller tote and I adore it. I am a massive handbag hoarder and I own far to many for the average girl but handbags make me so happy, I will for sure use this everyday. The monochrome stripes make it the perfect everyday tote that will go with pretty much every outfit.
Victoria also got me ‘The Craft DIY Hair & Beauty’ book by Lou Teasdale. When she asked me what I wanted for my birthday, I sent a list with less than 6 things on it and the first thing that came to mind whilst writing it was this book. I have already read it all and I am really impressed with the quality and amazing tips that are stated in the book. –I love a good beauty book.
I also got loads of little pieces such as an Address book, a student cook book (which will come in handy, come September) a Cath Kidston tea pot, mac vouchers and kiehl’s vouchers. I did get a lot of money for my birthday this year from family and friends. I have already treated myself to the Clarisonic Mia 2 which I have wanted for ages. It won’t be for another couple of months before I do a review on this because I want to have a lot of time to try it out.
A massive thank you to everyone who brought me a birthday card, present, money etc. I feel so spoilt and grateful for everything. I hope you have enjoyed looking at what I got for my birthday this year, what do you want/what did you get for your birthday?
*Disclaimer: I am not trying to brag or show off in any way. My ‘What I got for Christmas’ post is one of my most viewed posts to date so you obviously enjoy reading them and if your anything like me, you enjoy reading these posts because you are nosy. All of the products in this post, unless I stated otherwise were given to me as gifts, therefore I did not buy any of the products with my own money.
