June Favourites

This month has seen me reach for copious amounts of fake tan, a new skincare routine that gets a big thumbs up from me and a song that is stuck on replay. Here is a run down of all the things I have loved throughout June.
Pixi Glow Tonic (£16): Pixi glow tonic is a liquid exfoliator; I use this once a day in my evening skincare routine. I love the way this product makes my skin look, it brings out a natural glow that I am loving this summer. The downside to this product is the smell; it has a strong medicated smell that not everyone will like. I personally don’t mind it but I know others will. I use a moisturiser after using this because it can be quite drying, but I love it nevertheless.
Kiehl’s SPF 50 (£31): During the warmer months I like to protect my face as much as I can from the sun. I picked up the Kiehl’s ultra light daily UV defence SPF 50 for my trip to Turkey this summer, but I have started to use it within my everyday routine. I find that it keeps my makeup on a lot longer than normal and it is really hydrating. If you have dry skin like myself, apply a small layer of your daily moisturiser and then this on top. Or if you have oily skin, I’d recommend just using this on it’s own because it is really moisturising.
Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua Foundation (£33): An old favourite of mine, I have been reaching for this foundation almost everyday. It’s lightweight, which is perfect for summer, it gives enough coverage and I have absolutely loved this foundation during June because it’s the perfect summer foundation. I have done a review on the foundation here

YSL Touche Eclat (£25): I love my YSL Touche Eclat, I apply this mostly under my eyes and around my nose. It adds a subtle glow and draws light to my face which I love in the summer. It’s such an easy product to use that it’s perfect for on-the-go touch-ups. I have done a review on this product here. The packaging is also super adorable.

Seche Vite (£9.85): I have had Seche Vite top coat for some time now, but it rarely gets spoken about here on WLL. It’s a top coat for your nails and it drys super fast. I love this because it makes my nails shinny and the colour always lasts a bit longer when i’m wearing it.

Mac’s Woodwinked Eyeshadow (£10): I have been wearing this eyeshadow none stop for the past month. I love wearing golds and browns on my eyes though out summer and wood winked is the perfect shade. It’s so effortless to wear, I love that when you blend it out it goes a coppery orange shade, making it look like you’ve applied two eyeshadows to contour but you’ve only used one. I like to pair this with a nude lip and brown eyeliner.
St Tropez self-express tan (£33): I am a massive fan of St Tropez tans; I have been using the original moose for as long as I can remember, and their newest release did not disappoint. The Self Express tan is a product that I wish I would have thought off because it is genius, you apply one layer of the tan all over the body (or specific areas you want to tan), leave it on for one hour for a light tan, 2 hours for a medium tan or 3 hours for a dark tan. I love the original moose, but hate waiting for it to develop, this normally means going to bed with it on and washing it off in the morning. I however love the fact you can leave this tan on and within 1-3 hours your able to wash it off again. The smell is a lot more pleasant than the original moose too.

The song that I can’t stop playing this month is American Dream by MKTO. I just love this song so much, seriously love these guys and their music just always cheers me up. LOVE.
