Holiday Beauty Haul

In just under 2 weeks I’m jetting off to Turkey for a couple of weeks. I’ve not been on holiday for a very long time so shopping was inevitable, on Wednesday I showed you a few pieces of clothing –which you can view here that I have already brought but today I am showing you the beauty pieces I have purchased.
In the summer I like to wear light coverage bases, I love my Chanel vitalumiere aqua foundation because it’s lightweight and gorgeous to wear in the summer but I wanted something a little bit lighter. The Laura Mercier tinted moisturiser £34 has been on my wish list for a long time so it was only right that I got it for my holiday. I got the shade Blush that is my fake tan shade, if I want a lighter coverage I will use my fingers to apply it but if I want a fuller coverage I use the real techniques buffing brush.

I use the collection lasting perfection concealer on a daily basis but i’ve wanted to try out a new conceal for a while now, I picked up the maybelline Fit Me concealer £5.99 in the shade 20 and I have really been enjoying it, it’s really moisturising and creamy.
The first product on my summer holiday shopping list was the Kiehls UV Daily defence SPF 50 £30. In Turkey it is going to be so hot I needed to get a higher factor SPF for my face. I love this because it’s light and doesn’t feel greasy at all, I feel like it keeps my makeup on a lot longer than if I didn’t wear it. I am going to be wearing this everyday on holiday but it isn’t waterproof which is the only thing that let’s the product down so I will have to reapply this more than normal.
When I was in London I went into Boots and I saw that they are now stocking Sleek makeup, Sleek blushers have always been my favourite so I headed straight for the Sleek stand. I picked up another blush in Life’s A Peach £4.99, it’s a gorgeous bright coral shade, I love coral colours throughout summer and this blusher is beautiful for summer and tans.
I also brought a few travel friendly products to keep in my hand luggage for the flight. I don’t normally use face wipes but the Yes To range are a brand that I have recently discovered and their makeup wipes feel so nice on my skin. I have the full size of the Yes To grapefruit wipes but I managed to get a travel pack of the Yes To cucumber wipes £1.25 which I’m excited to try.
A couple of weeks ago I headed to Space NK to pick up a travel bottle of the Caudille beauty elixir £11.50, I wanted this for the flight because it soothes and cools my face down. This will also be really refreshing in the heat. This bottle is below the maximum ml you can take on planes so I am defiantly taking this on the plane with me.

I’m really into wearing eyeshadow as part of my everyday makeup routine and the new L’Oreal colour riche eyeshadows do not disappoint. I have three shades, 201 nude, 206 nude and 106 matte, I apply these with my fingers because I find they give the best result that way, all of these shades will look amazing in the sunlight.

The last two things that I brought were products for my lips, I have dry lips and in the summer i find that they get drier and it’s a lot harder to look after them especially if they get burnt. I brought the Nivea lip butter in Vanilla, this is so moisturising and really creamy. I also brought another lipgloss from Tanya Burr’s makeup range, I got the shade Afternoon Tea. It’s a my lips but better colour and I have been wearing nearly everyday since I brought it.

Sorry for the long post, I always ramble on when I do a haul.
