Long over-due beauty haul

A couple of weeks back I went shopping and totally forgot to post about it, so here it is.

Recently I’ve been getting into contouring and this Nars contour duo in Olympia (£30) is the perfect little palette for fair skinned girls, like myself. The bronzer is the perfect shade for my skin tone, it’s not at all orange and it blends really nicely into the skin. It comes with a highlighting shade, which is so handy for the brow bones as well as cheekbones.
I went a bit nail polish crazy, I brought three different polishes all from different brands. The first one is Essie truth orflare (£7.99). It’s a blue toned grey and looks stunning on the nails, I love this shade for my tootsies this time of year. It’s not too dark that it’s classed as a winter shade but it’s not too bright and summery either, it’s great for all year round.
The next polish I snapped up was models own beach bag (£5.00), and after seeing lily from lily pebbles do a review on this shade I just knew I’d have to get one for myself. It enhances tans and makes your hands look really healthy and radiant. This will defiantly be my staple summer shade.

The last polish is from Tanya burrs makeup range. I got the shade mini marshmallows (£5.99), the colour is so pretty but the formula isn’t to great from my experience. It takes a lot of layering to get it to an opaque colour, it doesn’t last very long at all either, it started to chip the day after I painted my nails. I’m still going to try out some of the darker shades in her range as it maybe because it’s a light colour.
Another Tanya burr purchase, one of her lip-glosses in smile, dream, sparkle. (£6.99) Unlike the polish, I really like the formula and texture of her lip-glosses. They smell like strawberry laces and taste amazing, this shade is a perfect everyday ‘my lips but better’ shade.
Lastly I picked up a new bottle of batiste dry shampoo, I got the scent monochrome (£1.99). The bottle itself is so pretty and unique which I love, I’ve tried other scents from batiste and I find them to be too strong and over powering. The monochrome scent is subtle and fresh.
Thanks for reading,
