This month I haven’t been loving a lot of things but as I promised myself to try and do this every month -Lets see how long it lasts- I thought I’d better show you guys the few things that I have been using throughout January.
#1- Jo Malone Blackberry and bay cologne: I got this perfume for christmas (I did a blog post on what I got for christmas here.) and I have used so much of it already *sob*. It is just a really nice ‘feel good’ perfume. It’s really fruity and fresh, I wear this on days where I want a pick-me-up because it just makes me feel so god damn good.
#2- Mac blusher in ‘Well Dressed‘: I have been wearing this blusher none stop for the past month, It is a very subtle light pink colour. It gives a gorgeous glow on the cheeks and it’s perfect for days where you don’t want too much fuss on the cheeks but want something fresh looking. I wore this in my recent ‘Whats on my face‘ post.
#3- Mac fix+: Just a quick note. This has gone up in price SO MUCH, Mac what are you doing? When I first brought this it was £6.50, which is quite decent yet still pricey. But now it is £10, for a 30ml bottle thats ridiculous. Having said that it is my holy grail product and this is my second bottle of it. I’ve been getting the travel size because it was cheaper and a lot more handy to just throw in my handbag then the full size, however after discovering that it has yet again increased in price, I may just bite the bullet and buy the full size next time. The product itself is on point and I spray this pretty much every day. It keeps my makeup in place and I love it.
#4- Naked 2 Palette by Urban Decay: I have been using this palette pretty much everyday since I brought it. The shadows are so pigmented and blend so nicely. My top 3 most used shades at the moment are Foxy, Bootycall and Busted. If you want to see swatches of this palette go over to my post I did on my top 3 most used neutral palettes, here.
#5- Dr. Lipp original nipple balm for lips. Yes you read that write, ‘original nipple balm for lips’ this product was originally designed for women who breast feed, but it is now a balm for lips. This product is so good, It is quite sticky to start with but once its been worked into the lips it feels so heavenly. I’ve been ill recently (full of cold and a sore throat) my lips and skin have not been behaving the way they should but this product has been a life savour. I apply this to my lips pretty much every second of the day, to help my lips appear less red, sore and swollen looking.
