If you listen to BBC Radio One you will know that every year they host an award-like show for 14-17 year olds, celebrating teenagers who are recognised for their bravery, strength and selflessness. As well as choosing 3 teen heroes to be presented with an award, they also get different well known artists to perform. This year Jessie J, James Arthur, Icona Pop, Rizzle Kicks, Fall out boy and Tinie Tempah all performed. I was one of the lucky 9 thousand teens to get a ticket and it was an amazing experience, it was at wembley arena in London.
Theres always time for a quick selfy before you leave the house, even if it is at 9am in the morning.
I wore a dress from Urban Outfitters, with black tights and little black ankle boots. I paired these with my tartan scarf from Primark, my black leather jacket and my brown Prada bag.
For makeup I wanted to keep it simple but partyish, I chose to wear Estee Lauder double wear (amazing for long days), Rimmel stay matte powder, Rimmel wake me up concealer, sleek mirrored pink blush, Maybelline baby lips cherry me for my lips and a mixture of Mac all that glitters and a gold/brown eyeshadow from my sephora MUA palette.

It was also being filmed and it is on BBC3 at 7pm tonight (So sorry I was meant to upload this post before 7pm tonight so you could all go and watch it, but I fell asleep after college because I was so tired after yesterdays dancing and singing). I’m sure you can catch it on BBC IPlayer if you want to know what the teen awards is all about.
I’m so happy that I got the chance to be a part of something so special and amazing. Congratulations to everyone who won an award, you all deserve it.
Thank you radio one for the amazing line up and presenters.
Have you ever been to the teen awards?
