January Journal

The start of Jan was a slow one for me, I started 2019 with the yearly flu/cold virus and it seemed like everyone around me got it too. A lot of Vitamin C and hot tea later I headed down to London to spend a weekend with my sister and all her favourite girls – we had a pre hen weekend for her, with all the bridesmaids! I’ve been doing a lot of working and content creating this month – Im hoping to make some changes to my blog and instagram feed, a lot more creative content should be coming soon.

Neon signs and pancakes.

My sisters pre hen weekend consisted of all her fave gals in one place for a full weekend of eating, drinking prosecco and slow walks around Greenwich . We played a few games, chatted about the wedding and made a few hen party plans. On the Sunday we took slow walks around Greenwich and went for brunch at the Grind, I went for the pancakes which tasted amazing – highly recommend them! Every one else opted for a more traditional brunch of full English breakfasts and avocado toast, which did look pretty insane too.

The rest of January was a waiting game for me, I was counting down the days until I went away across the pond – I have just come back from being in America for 9 days, I have a lot of content coming this next month and it will feature heavily in my next monthly journal. During Jan however I got the opportunity to try out some new releases, including my new favourite serum from Omorovicza – Daily Vit C serum is super hydrating and gives the skin a healthy glow and brightness. I will be reviewing this super soon.

I have actually stuck to my New Years resolutions of not buying coffee before work or lunch on my breaks. I have actually saved a bit of money by doing this and so I hope that I can stick to it this coming month too. Last year I was spending a ridiculous amount of money on food and drink when I could have just brought things in from home. I hope you’re all sticking to your New Year resolutions too.

What have been your favourite moments from January?
