Huge collective beauty haul

Today I have a haul for you of all the things I picked up last month. I’m considering going on a “no-buy” ban for the rest of May. The majority of this haul is skincare, a few repurchases and some new faves and I have also splurged on haircare this month.

HAIRCARE

Features: IGK, Ouai and Windle & Moodie

I finally managed to pick up a bottle of Thirsty Girl by my favourite haircare brand, IGK. It’s a Coconut Milk leave-in conditioner that is to be used on damp hair, i’ve been using it for a couple of weeks now and my hair absolutely loves it. It smells incredible and leaves my hair feeling extremely soft and nourished. Memory Mist by Ouai has been on my shopping list ever since I watched an insta-live where Jen Atkin demonstrated sleek straight hair and memory mist was the main product she used for a sleek, frizz-free look. Again the smell and texture of this product makes my hair feel and look its best. Lastly for hair I picked up the Fortifying shampoo by Windle and Moodie, this is a completely new brand for me and one I am so excited to try. The fortifying shampoo is designed to reinforce and protect fine to medium hair, which is definitely what I need for my hair.

SKINCARE

Features: Caudalie, Odacite, Votary, Lancer, Dr Dennis Gross and Evolve

My first repurchase in this haul is the makeup removing cleansing oil by Caudalie, this is my favourite cleansing oil and I use this everyday to remove all of my makeup before second cleansing. The second product from Caudalie is their detox overnight oil, which helps to renew the skin, with an intense natural detox. I haven’t tried this dry oil yet but I will report back with my results. I was on the lookout for a new second and morning cleanse, the mint cleanser by Odacite is my current go-to, it’s purifying and refreshing and deeply cleanses the skin without stripping it. Another cleanser that I have recently picked up is also by Odacite, their green ceremony cleanser. Its a powder to foam efficacy Matcha and Spirulina cleanser which is good for removing all surface impurities and energising the skin. Also new to my skincare line up is a moisturiser by Votary, the Super Seed nutrient cream helps to soothe and hydrate sensitive skin.

I was lucky enough to get a deluxe size of The Method: Polish by Lancer to try, it deeply exfoliates the skin with pumpkin and pomegranate enzymes. Retinol is an ingredient that I have just started to add into my routine, as it’s known for its skin renewal properties and because I still have a fair few blemishes and scars I have been using the Ferulic + Retinol pads by Dr Dennis Gross once-twice a week. Organic skincare is something I’ve just started to incorporate into my routines, I picked up a bestsellers set from Evolve Beauty, which includes their hyaluronic serum, daily renewal face cream and radiance glow mask. The mask smells like chocolate and I am very much here for it.

Summer is fast approaching so my main priority is getting my skin summer ready and smooth. I have mentioned Ameliorate a fair few times on this blog before because it is my favourite body care brand, I recently picked up a tube of their nourishing body wash and I couldn’t be any more excited to try it. A new product that I’ve been dying to try for a while is the Malin + Goetz Eucalyptus Deodorant, I picked up a mini to try and I will be doing a full review post about this soon. To get my into the summer vibes the Nuxe face, body and hair dry oil is a must for a shimmery gold highlighted look.

As for makeup I recently picked up a few shades in the Hourglass vanish foundation stick for my kit as well as the concealer and a replacement of my favourite lip balm, By Terry balume de rose. Finally I chose a gorgeous coppery bronze eye polish in the shade Lucky from RMS Beauty, the texture and finish of these are heavenly and I can’t wait to use it on my lids.
