Bathtime Beauty

I have always loved a good ol’ bubble bath, filling it with dreamy scents and pampering skincare, it has pretty much become apart of a ritual. I love lighting a few candles, truly switching off from the day and giving my skin some TLC, picking a fresh pair of pyjamas and grabbing a magazine or two. So, today I thought I’d share with you the products that I always seem to reach for when treating myself to a pampering bubble bath.

When it comes to creating the bubbles, I’m not that fussy and just reach for whatever I have on hand. My favourite at the moment is the Laura Mercier Honey Bath in Almond and Coconut, it smells incredible and a small amount creates serious bubbles, its creamy and luxurious. I’ve also been loving Mandara Spa Oriental Spa Bath Milk, this is great for creating a spa like aroma which is relaxing and calming. As for skincare, I always reach for Glossier Milky Jelly Cleanser to cleanse and hydrate, before reaching for the Oskia Renaissance Mask¬†which is great at adding radiance, whilst exfoliating the skin. Glossier Body Hero oil is always on the side of my bath, the super smoothing and hydrating oil is a must for any bath time beauty rituals. Now I don’t think i’ll ever light my Bella Freud candle but just having it on the side of the bath feels relaxing and Zen, my favourite candle to light at bath time is Diptyque Baies.

As I mentioned in my Staying Inspired post, practising self-care is key to allowing yourself to truly relax and get in the zone. Once you have your bath time ritual down, you’ll be relaxed and ready to go again in no time.
