July Goals

I can’t believe it’s July already, is it just me or is this year going super quickly? This is always my favourite time of year; lighter evenings, slightly warmer weather, holidays, drinking cocktails just because…

I seem to be incredibly busy this month with work commitments but I do have a few short breaks planned, July is going to be a big month.

Focus on my brand and business. I’m currently in the process of starting up my own freelance business. I need to start thinking of the future, now unis over (actual sob) it’s a scary world out there if you go in head first unprepared. This month i’m going to plan my freelance branding and business, starting with a website makeover (oo coming soon).

Use my time more wisely. I am the absolute worst when it comes to my days off; I sleep in, stay in my pjs and binge watch TV shows all day long. I really need to get better at organising my time off wisely. I’m happy i’ve started to blog again but I need to find the right balance between work, blog and myself. The next few months i’m going to be doing a bit of travelling, therefore I need to organise my time a lot more wisely, than sleeping till 1 in the afternoon – totally guilty.

Have a digital detox; I’m constantly on my phone or laptop during the day and in the evenings I head straight for the TV – anyone else watching Love Island? I have been feeling really tired, unmotivated and just not 100% recently, I defiantly think the amount of screen time has something to do with this. I’m going to try really hard to have a digital detox this month, putting my phone down in the evenings and reading a book before bed. I defiantly need it.

Save. Saving money is something that I will always be dreadful at doing, even tho I know just how important it is. I want to go travelling so saving money will allow me to do just that, but I also want to save for my future so I can invest in the right equipment that I will need; a car, a house, a new camera, what ever it maybe, I don’t want money to be the thing that stops me.

What are your plans and goals for the next month ahead?
