AW16 Beauty Must Haves

The transition from Summer to Autumn sees me reach for warm toned eyeshadow shades, burgundy nails, extra hydrating skincare and long lasting lipsticks. Autumn is one of my favourite seasons, I love wearing big chunky jumpers, ankle boots and camel coloured coats.

When the cooler months arrive I like to up my skincare game. I start with a good hydrating and glow-giving mask, Oskia Renaissance (£49.50). Oskia is one of my favourite skincare brands, the mask gently exfoliates, hydrates and brightens the skin. This mask has Passion fruit, Lemon and Grape fruit acids which gently activates skin renewal, with Papaya enzymes to cleanse and clear congested pores. It’s also scented with Rose and Chamomile to sooth and hydrate.

Tatcha Luminous Dewy Skin Mist ($48) has been a firm favourite in my routine since I visited the states during the summer. This mist helps with dullness, uneven texture and antiaging. I reach for this spray-on moisturiser when my skin needs a little extra TLC and hydration boost.

Liquid lipsticks are a must for any season but during the winter I like to have a no fuss, long lasting lipstick. My AW picks come from Colour Pop. In my opinion, colour pop have the best formula for long lasting, pigmented liquid lipsticks, my current favourites are Chi and Times Square.

To help keep my lips moisturised and hydrated I’ve been using the Fresh sugar lip polish to exfoliate and bite beauty agave lip mask to hydrate overnight.

Warm toned eyeshadows are my go-to during the cool months, my favourite palette at the moment comes from Chanel. Their autumn drop had me searching all departments stores and beauty sites online. I finally got my hands on one at the airport in duty free (I think it’s sold out now as well, i’m sorry). I’ve been wearing the red shadow all over the lid with the two darker brown shades in the crease.

To keep my hair hydrated and in good condition, i’ve been using the GDH Advanced Split End Therapy. I apply this on wet hair to the ends of my hair and blow dry it in. I’ll be doing a full review on this because I’ve been using it a lot and loving the results so far.

My favourite fragrance for this time of year is Jo Malone Peony and Blush Suede.

What are you Autumn Winter must haves?
