After reorganising my dressing table the other day I realised that I have a routine and most of the products I use always stay the same. I wanted a place where I could easily reach for my everyday products, I turned an unused muji draw into a space where I could store my most used palettes, foundations and everything in between.
Marc Jacobs under(cover) perfecting coconut face primer has been my go-to since I picked it up in NYC, look out for a full review coming soon. This primer hydrates and creates the perfect base for foundation.
Everyday I reach for the Makeup Forever Ultra HD foundation in 117 and Makeup Forever Ultra HD foundation stick in 117. I use the stick on any areas I need extra coverage and mix it with the liquid foundation on top. This has been my go-to combination, the finish is glow-giving and full coverage.
For my under eye concealer, I like a full coverage thats a little bit lighter to highlight. I use Makeup Forever Ultra HD concealer in the inner corners with Urban Decay Naked Skin concealer to blend out.
I always reach for my Kat Von D Shade and Light contour palette. I use the yellow shade to set the under eye area and the lightest contour shade to sculpt my cheekbones. This is my everyday palette and I never switch this out.
To bronze up my skin I have always reached for Nars laguna and their new Laguna Tiara bronzer has been my summer go-to, it smells just like a holiday.
I always switch up my highlighter and therefore never have a set one in my everyday draw. At the moment I am really loving the Anastasia Beverly Hills Glow Kits, I have a full post about them here.
Warm toned eyeshadows are my favourites and I always reach for them. I am currently obsessed with the Violet Voss Holy Grail palette, I use this everyday to create smokey eyes, natural looks and everything in between.
I love using glitter to be creative and add extra highlight. At the moment I’ve been using Urban Decay Heavy Metal liner in Distortion in the inner corners.
