White Lace and A Line Denim

I have been in New York for a week, with the scorching heat and city air. My aim everyday was to stay cool, be comfortable and to wear outfits I felt confident in. This White Lace and A Line Denim number is one of many I have to share with you.

White Lace Bardot Top: £35

Button A Line Denim Skirt: £38

Both pieces are from the Ariana Grande X Lipsy London collection. I was drawn to the white lace bardot top for the lace detailing and short off the shoulder sleeves. Off the shoulder tops have become a summer staple this year, making them so easy to wear. The A Line Denim Skirt has also become my go-to summer wardrobe, I wore this twice on the trip with two different white lace tops.

New York gave me a new-found confidence, making me fall completely in love with the city. Every street corner, every tall sky scraper building, every person I met, I can’t wait to go back and explore more of the incredible city. I honestly must have photographed the tall buildings and traditional fire escape stairs 1000 times.

I paired this outfit with my Elizabeth and James Cynnie Cross Body Bag. I kept all my essentials: phone, metro ticket, money, ice breakers and hand sanitizer all in this little bag. I chose to wear this outfit to go exploring through Little Italy and China Town, it was one of the hottest days, with hardly any breeze.

Lunchin’ in Soho was a lot of fun. I chose to have a chicken salad and it was delicious. However the portion sizes in America are huge and I struggled to eat it all. I would do anything to have this salad again though.

Extra details: I always wear my two favourite Pandora rings and my rose gold Michael Kors watch (even though it did give me tan lines). My nails are always gelled, I chose a light lilac grey shade for this trip and fell in love with the colour. I wore my Adidas Original trainers which were a life saver in New York. I wore them almost everyday because of the comfort and for being super practical in a big city.

I have a lot more fashion and New York outfit posts coming up, I hope you enjoyed this one.

Have you ever been to New York before? What do you think about my outfit?
