It doesn’t seem 5 minutes since I sat down to write my 2015 faves and I say this every time but where has this month gone? It’s flown by so quickly. January is an odd month for favourites because I am still using and loving everything in my 2015 faves, but I have also been using a lot of new products that I got for Christmas.
Up until recently I never brought expensive trainers, especially white ones, as white gets dirty so easily. I have always wanted a pair of the Adidas Original Superstars in White, so I popped them on my Christmas list. Thanks to my parents I’ve been wearing these everyday since Christmas day.
I picked up this blog planner towards the start of summer last year but don’t think I’ve mentioned it here on WLL before. During the New Year I have been really getting into organising my days and planning blog posts. This planner from has been an absolute dream; it has pages to jot down ideas, a monthly over view, inspirational quotes and pages for favourites and hauls.
From my recent trip to London I finally visited the Kikki. K store in Covent Garden I picked up this daily list planner. This has been helping me stay organised everyday with lists of things I need to get done; it also has a section where you can start a list for the next day. I am defiantly going to be checking out more of the Kikki. K collections.
Obviously contouring has been, and still is, a very popular makeup trend. I love contouring and these are the products that I have loved this month to create that sculpted look.
Chanel Solei Tan De Chanel: This is a beautiful cream bronzer, which I’ve been wearing under foundation to create a natural bronze glow.
Charlotte Tilbury Film star bronze and glow (£49): I have been using this to contour as the bronze shade is the perfect grey, brown shade for pale skin gals like myself. This is my go-to contour palette at the moment.
Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in Moonstone (£32): I’ve had this highlighter in my collection for a while now but after I got my hands on Jaclyn Hill’s Champagne Pop, my other highlighters didn’t get a lo
ok in. However this month I have loved Moonstone as my highlight.
My favourite lip combination of the month has got to be Mac Subculture lip liner and Mac Matte lipstick in Honey Love, this is my favourite nude lip combo and I’ve been wearing it almost everyday. It has a subtle brown nude tint whilst being my perfect nude shade for everyday wear.
This mask is amazing. My hair has been really dry and dehydrated but after using this mask a couple of times, it has literally saved my hair. It detangles with ease and makes my hair feel silky soft. I will be doing a full review on this mask soon.
For Christmas I was very very kindly gifted a new camera from my parents and I finally have the Olympus Pen Camera. It is the ultimate selfie camera (thats totes not the reason why I wanted it). I wanted a camera that is small, light and really portable. I love the settings and how I can take this out and about so I can blog on the go.
I had a lot of favourites this month huh?, what we’re your faves this month?
