Happy New Year everyone, hope you all had a lovely Christmas and New Year. It feels good to be sat writing for What Lucy Loves again; it’s been a long time, hasn’t it? I feel as though this will be a lengthy post so get ya self a cuppa and get comfy.
It’s been a month since I last sat down and wrote for WLL and it’s been 2 months since I started my new job. I finally got a job on a makeup counter (after years of trying) and I absolutely love it, I am currently working for Space NK and it’s a dream come true. It’s been hard work but I am so thrilled to be a part of such a great team in my store.
As it got closer to Christmas, all of my university deadlines started creeping up on me and I completely lost all of my spare time, which I used for blogging. I made the decision to stop blogging for a while so I could concentrate on my new job and uni work. However I didn’t know when I would be back to blogging again, I never want to put up half-hearted posts just for the sake of it so I decided to stop until I had the time to do it properly.
In 2016 I am going to make sure I have time for What Lucy Loves because I love writing posts and coming up with ideas for my blog. I have missed my little space on the web, so I am going to plan ahead and schedule posts, she says still sat writing this on New Years Eve.
You can expect the usual reviews, hauls and favourites posts but in the new year I want to start adding in some makeup tutorials too. I’ve tried to do these in the past but they never turned out the way I planned and to be honest I never had the time to focus myself on them. However this is something that I want my blog to be about, makeup and being creative! Therefore im going to focus my blog on that in the new year. Whether that be on the blog or on my YouTube channel (if you have any thoughts or ideas I would be grateful for your input).
Can’t wait to get blogging again, head back on Monday for a huge haul.
