September Favourites

Apologises for the lateness of this post, we are now well into October and Halloween is just around the corner, who’s excited? All of my university work has just been shoved towards me all at once and sadly my blog had to take a back seat for a few days. I am planning on being more organised this month, therefore I am going to schedule as many posts as I can so if I do become really busy all of a sudden, What Lucy Loves will still have posts going up.

September went by so quickly and I know I say that every month but genuinely it doesn’t seem 5 minutes since I moved back to university and that was at the start of the month. This month has seen me reach for my favourite BB creme, try out a new moisturiser and stock up on my favourite concealer.

I have been using Dior Skin Nude BB Creme (£30) for years, I am currently shade 001 but in the summer I tend to be 003. It’s a really lightweight formula that sits on the skin so beautifully, I love to use this with my Louise Young L34 foundation brush.

Whilst I was at IMATS London during the summer, I stocked up on my favourite ever concealer. I have been using the Makeup Forever Full Cover camouflage concealer (£21) everyday. It covers pretty much everything and lasts a long time on the skin.

You may have already seen my review of the AA Skincare Lavender and Tea Tree Moisturising face lotion (£6.96)* here on WLL, I had to mention it again in my favourites because I have been really enjoying using this moisturiser before bedtime. It sinks into the skin and makes my face feel hydrated and moisturised. AA Skincare are also offering you guys 20% so head over to my post for the code.

During the summer my sister went on holiday and brought me back a Sephora lip cream in Pink Souffle ($14), I have been wearing this so much this month. The colour is gorgeous and the formula is spot on, lasts all day.

Another favourite this month has to be YSL Touche Eclat (£25), in my last favourites post I mentioned the Mac prep and prime highlighter in Light boost which I was using to conceal my under eye area. However I have recently started to use YSL Touch éclat to add light and radiance to my under eye area and cheek bones.

I can’t go a day without picking up my Shu Uemura eyelash curlers (£20), they curl my lashes so well and they stay curly all day long.

What have you loved this month?
