– Makeup –
This month I have been trying out some new products, I like to switch my makeup up as often as I can and this month I seem to be using all new makeup on my face. To add some serious glow I have been loving Dior Glow Maximiser Light Boosting Primer (£29). I use this pretty much everyday, it works well with nearly all the foundations I own, however I always apply less when I’m wearing Nars Sheer Glow because things can get way too disco bally for my liking. For powder I have been using Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder in 1 (£19.50) this powder is so lightweight on the skin I always forget I’m wearing powder at all. It’s not caky, which I hate from powder, I use this to set my under eye concealer and it prevents it from creasing. Brows have always been a struggle but I have found a new love. Maybelline Master Shape Brow Pencil in soft brown (£2.99) this is my second pencil, I know who even finishes brow products? and I have also reviewed this product here. For bronzer I normally use Nars laguna but I thought i’d try something new, I have recently brought Barry M Natural Dazzle Bronzer (£10.99) this product is just as good as Laguna and I have been loving this for a bronzed look or even to contour with on the go. Lastly I have been obsessed with Mac’s Cinderella collection, view here. I have been wearing Royal Ball lipstick (£17) pretty much every day this month.
– Pamper –
I love a good pamper evening, with candles, a good book and freshly washed hair. Last summer I used a miniature version of Bumble and Bumble Surf shampoo (£18.50) and conditioner, I absolutely loved them. However B&B are really expensive so I have only brought the shampoo. I have been using this a lot this month and I love the way it leaves my hair after its been washed. A good book is essential for a pamper evening and at the moment I have been loving Sali Hughes Pretty Honest (£14.96) I got this book for christmas and I have nearly read it all, it’s a great coffee table book, you can pick this book up and start reading from any page/chapter, you don’t have to go from start to end and I love that about this book. It’s a definite must read for beauty lovers. I treated myself to a new pair of shoes this month and I have fallen in love. They are from Next, they are the Suede Wide Heels (£38) I got these in the colour blush. They are so comfortable to walk in and they fit perfectly, I can’t wait to wear these during the summer. I will be doing a post on how to style these soon.
– Skincare –
In terms of skincare, this month I have been reaching for the same products that I know work with my skin and help hydrate it. Oskia renaissance cleansing gel (£28) has been a favourite of mine ever since I bought it at Beauty Chat Live in February, I use this morning and night it’s really refreshing and leaves my skin soft and glowing. I have done a post on it here. The last two products are sample sizes, I got these in the goodie bag from Beauty Chat Live. Oskia Renaissance Mask (£48.50) has been on my wish list for a long time now and I am please that I got the chance to try it out. This mask adds moisture and hydration to my skin and I will be purchasing the full product when I run out. I love facial sprays, they are a step in my routine that I can’t be without. At the moment I have using Jurlique rosewater balancing mist (£18) I love the smell of this mist, I spray it once i’ve taken my makeup off at night to refresh my face and also in the mornings to wake up my skin.
