December Favourites

This month has seen me reach for old favourites as well as new ones, from dewy skin to strong contour here is a run down of 8 of my favourite products throughout December.
After purchasing the YSL Touche Eclat foundation in the summer it is one that I still reach for when i’m having good skin days, or when I need a little extra glow. I have done a full review here. I have been reaching for this foundation a lot recently, it adds a healthy amount of glow to the skin which I love.
A re-purchase of Hydraluron and I can’t believe i’ve gone so long without buying it again. It adds the perfect amount of hydration to the skin, I apply this before my moisturiser in the morning and sometimes at night if I need extra hydration. I’d recommend getting this when it’s on offer in boots or it can be rather expensive to buy.
I have recently discovered Mac’s pro long wear concealer, this has amazing pigmentation and gives off high coverage. I’ve been reaching for this product a lot recently to cover under eye circles, blemishes, redness etc.

For my everyday makeup routine I will always apply a small amount of Nylon eyeshadow by Mac into the inner corners of my eyes, this really helps to brighten the face and makes my eyes look bigger. I also like to use this as a brow bone highlight if I’m going out.
I got my Clarisonic Mia 2 back in August and I have used it everyday since. I love this thing, I haven’t done a full review on it yet because I wanted to give it a chance to work and I wanted my results to be honest and helpful for any of you wanted to treat yourself and get one. This month however I have been seeing a change in my skin, maybe because it’s winter and my skin just needs a little extra pick me up but I’ve been using this day and night throughout the past month and i’ve just been loving it.

I have recently found a new love for my Naked 3 palette, I have been using the shades like Liar and Nooner all over my the eye for a quick eye look in the morning when I don’t have much time, but I do  really like to smoke out a look using the darkest shade in the palette, on the outer crease of the eye.

Contouring is one of my favourite things to do, I love the way a good contour can make your skin look and my favourite duo for this, this month has been Mac Harmony blush and Space NK cheek contour brush. The two make contouring effortless and smooth, the brush itself is super soft and blends out the edges seamlessly. Harmony is just the right shade for pale gals like myself.

What have been your favourite products throughout December?
