My exams are just around the corner and before the stress begins I’m off for a 7-day trip to Devon with my family. Packing isn’t my favourite thing in the world, but to keep me going I thought I’d share with you what makeup I’m taking along with me. I’m sure you will agree when I say packing light is never easy (especially when it comes to beauty!) but knowing what I will be doing and having a brief idea of what the weather will be like, has made it much easier.
So, here is what is in my makeup bag so far…
The YSL touch éclat foundation for daily wear, Chanel vitalumiere aqua foundation for higher coverage days. Benefit porefessional primer and Laura Mercier original foundation primer because my foundation lasts longer with these primers. My usual concealer combination, collection lasting perfection concealer and YSL touché éclat. My standard brow duo, Mac Omega and Charcoal brown eye shadow. For a bit of colour, my new Nars contour duo in Olympia and Topshop cream blush in afternoon tea because it’s really long lasting.

For my eyes I brought Mac paint pot in Painterly for a base and primer, 4 Mac eye shadows, Naked Lunch, Wedge, Cranberry and Pink Freeze. L’Oreal telescopic mascara, Chanel le volume de Chanel and Clinique bottom lash mascara. Finally for lips I’m going to keep it really natural; Mac Angel lipstick, Baby lips peach kiss as a nude and YSL gloss Volupte in 202.
Considering I’ve managed to confine all my holiday products within one make-up bag is very unusual for me – I normally have a good 3 or 4!
On Monday, I’m going to post the skincare that I have decided to take with me – make sure you check back then.
I hope you’ve liked taking a look inside my travel makeup bag.
