May Favourites

It’s that time of the month again! Here is a run down of my favourite beauty products.
This month I’ve found myself reminiscing by using some of my old beauty favourites along with a few newbies! The real techniques expert face brush (£9.99) has made an appearance in many of my previous favourites blog posts, and it is back in this month. At the moment, I find myself using this brush everyday and almost forgot how well it flawlessly applies foundation no matter how many times I wash it, it’s still soft! Another old favourite of mine, which has emerged from my stash of beauty products, is mac’s omega eyeshadow (£12.50). I use this for my brows every single day. It fills them in naturally with a subtle hint of colour – I love it!
A brand new favourite of mine is the new Nars contour duo in Olympia (£30). I brought this at the Space NK nationwide event a couple of weeks ago and have fallen in love with it. The shade that I have is really subtle and is perfect for those of you who are pale, like myself. Along with it comes a highlighting shade, which is great for highlighting the brow bone and cheekbones.
L’Oreal telescopic mascara (£10.99) is a newish find for me. I find this product gives my lashes a generous coating with extreme length. I love this mascara because it’s not as heavy as others Ive previously used, and therefore doesn’t take years to take off. Ive found this mascara in particular defines the lashes perfectly which is what I think almost every girl values. I recently got a sample of benefits porefessional (£24.50) this month. This has been something that I’ve wanted to try out for a long time and it was well worth the wait. It ensures the skin feels smooth whilst creating a flawless base for foundation application. I am without a doubt going to be buying the full size tube. I have also been using Kiehlsclearly corrective dark spot solution (£36) everyday since I purchased it in March. It has cleared up most of the scars that I have from spots and has made my face a lot brighter. I love this stuff!
I have found myself painting my nails a lot recently. Essie’s ‘mint candy apple’ (£7.99)is a perfect shade for May. I find when wearing it, I instantly feel summery and it suits the sunshine weather we experienced at the beginning of this month. Another favourite of mine is a Models Own nail varnish in the colour ‘beachbag’ (£5). It is a gorgeous bright coral colour designed especially for summer tans and makes your hands and nails look healthy and radiant.
Finally, I have purchased some of Tanya burrs make up range to see if they are as good as people claim. I love her lipgloss in smile, dream, sparkle. (£6.99) It is a really subtle pink/nude shade, which is perfect for no makeup makeup days because it gives a ‘my lips but better’ colour. Tanya has done a blog postabout her cosmetic line, which features a few photographs of her subscribers wearing the products. I discovered I am on that blog post which is quite surreal. Tanya is one of my favourite bloggers so I feel honoured to appear on her blog. Thanks tan.
