Family time is the best time isn’t it? I love spending time with my family, so many new memories are made and it’s good job I’m there to snap away
when no ones looking. –Ok maybe they see me with my big DSLR camera trying to ‘sneakily’ take a photograph. I’m lucky to have such a close loving family, I know someone people don’t see their grandparents that often or hardly see their aunties, uncles and cousins. I do in fact live next door to my grandparents and I love it, we all have such an amazing relationship that it’s cool to just ring them up asking if they have any sugar for cups of teas or eggs to bake cakes with. The 2nd of February (yesterday) however was my auntie’s birthday so the celebrations began, we had a lovely buffet type meal on the Saturday night with my grandparents but I was to ill to document that part of the weekend. Therefore on Sunday we went out for a lovely Chinese meal at Mr. Mans, the only time I remember going to an actual Chinese restaurant instead of getting a takeaway was last summer in Paris with my sister. It was so nice to actually sit and order your meal instead of pigging out in front of the sofa on a Saturday night; I still like to do that though, I mean who doesn’t. Sometimes it’s just nice to dress up every once in a while, to crack open those well kept eye shadows or lipsticks you save for very special occasions. Like always I got my camera and started snapping away, here are a few of my favourites from the meal.
What I wore:
Jacket- New look
Scarf- Charity shop
Pandora ring and bracelet
Sorry for the obvious ‘in-the-mirror’ shot. It’s the best I could get of my makeup.
Chanel Vitalumere aqua foundation in 20 Beige
Collection lasting perfection concealer in light 2
Rimmel stay matte powder in translucent
Mac Naked lunch
Mac Pink Freeze in the tear duck area as a highlight
Mac bold black lash mascara
Clinique bottom lash mascara
Mac Glaze beauty lipstick (sadly it’s limited edition)
Nars Turkish delight lipgloss
Totally out of comfort zone wearing pinks on my eyes but I kind of like it, what do you guys think? Maybe I will crack out the cranberry and pink freeze colours a lot more in the future.
