Fearne Cotton at the National Television Awards:
I have been a massive fan of Fearne cotton for a very long time, and I couldn’t be more excited for her to have her very own clothing line for VERY.co.uk. She has some beautiful pieces and she always looks stunning. At this years NTA’s she was seen wearing a full length white dress which featured draped, sheer sleeves embellished with silver embroidery. It was quite simple yet very beautiful. She added a stunning boxy silver and gold clutch to accessorise.
She wore gothic nail polish and scattering rings. If I recreated her look I would start buy wearing Wicked or Luxedo by Essie. Her hair was curled into loose beachy waves to keep the whole look cool and modern.
She again kept it simple and elegant with her makeup. She went for a simple gold smokey eye and matte coral lips. For foundation I would use something that gives a gorgeous yet natural glow to the skin, Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua or Rimmel match perfect as a cheaper alternative. They both offer a healthy glow with a medium to high/build able coverage. It looks like Fearne has used a powder to set her foundation because the T-Zone and cheek area look matte. I would use my trusty Rimmel stay matte powder to achieve this look. For brows it looks like she’s chosen to go for a more natural/shaped look, I would use Mac’s Omega or Mac’s Charcoal brown to create these flawless looking brows. For her eyes however I would opt to wear Mac’s Woodwinked, because it gives a gorgeous copper colour when blended. I would also use something like Booty Call from the Urban Decay Naked 2 palette to highlight the inner corners. I would then take a black colour, either Carbon by Mac or Blackout from UD Naked 2 palette. (If you want to see swatches of either the Mac or UD eyeshadows mentioned above click HERE to see my recent post. I would then take a standard black kohl eyeliner to tight line the upper and bottom water line and a dashing of Maybelline the falsies mascara. For lips I would use something like Rimmel Kate moss lipstick in vibrant coral 110 or Lady Danger by Mac.
Did you like Fearne’s NTA look? Would you re-create this look yourself?
