Makeup on a budget

I don’t know about you but I’m always on the hunt for a beauty bargain, a high end alternative or just a little something before payday. I have managed to rustle up a whole makeup routine with just drugstore products.
For the base I have chosen to use Rimmel Match Perfection foundation it is very light and dewy, it gives a gorgeous glow. At only £6.99 this foundation is a perfect dupe for Chanel vitalumiere aqua foundation which is a bit more on the pricy side.
For concealer I could have picked two, Collection lasting perfection concealer is one of my absolute favourite drug store concealers, but I also have a lot of love for Rimmel wake me up. I find that the Rimmel wake me up concealer is amazing for blemishes, under the eye and highlighting. To set the foundation and concealer I have chosen to use Rimmel stay matte powder. This is my go-to setting powder.
I always struggle to find drugstore products to use on my eyebrows because I always use Mac Charcoal brown or Omega. But I found this highlighting and shaping pencil from the soap and glory makeup range. It is the perfect duo for perfect brows.
On the lids I have picked up two of the Maybelline 24hr colour tattoos in on and on bronze and permanent taupe. These two are -in my opinion- a dupe for Mac’s paint pots.
Lashes for me are a really important step in my makeup routine and finding a good mascara is proving to be quite the challenge. Maybelline the falsies mascara however is a new favourite of mine and if you haven’t tried it, it will change your life.
Keeping with the low price tag, I have chosen Maybelline baby lips in Cherry Me. This has been my favourite autumnal lip product.
I hope this post has been helpful to those of you who are searching for cheap alternatives.
